#ParentsDay

Show some appreciation today for all your parents have done for you.

Fourth Sunday of July

What Does #NationalParentsDay Mean?

National Parents Day is observed on the fourth Sunday of July and was established by President Bill Clinton in 1994. Unlike Mother is Day and Father is Day which honor each parent individually, this day recognizes both parents together and the family unit as a whole. It is about appreciating the teamwork, sacrifices, and love that parenting requires.

How to Use #NationalParentsDay

Post a family photo or share something specific your parents taught you that you still carry with you. Tag your parents if they are on social media. It is less commercialized than Mother or Father Day, so genuine, heartfelt posts stand out more than polished ones.
