What Does #YorkshireDay Mean?

Yorkshire Day on August 1st celebrates the historic English county of Yorkshire - its culture, traditions, dialect, and people. The day was established in 1975 by the Yorkshire Ridings Society to protest boundary changes, and it has since become a celebration of Yorkshire pride. From the Dales to the coast, Yorkshire has a lot to be proud of.
