What Does #InternationalTigerDay Mean?

International Tiger Day on July 29th raises awareness about tiger conservation and the threats these magnificent big cats face. With fewer than 5,000 tigers left in the wild, the day highlights the urgency of protecting their habitats and fighting poaching. It was established in 2010 at the Saint Petersburg Tiger Summit.
